Together, and on stage as well, we go further in the discovery of our voice and its possibilities!

The energy of the group nourishes each one and allows one to progress and learn from others, while having fun, to establish strong links while working in depth, to create solid foundations on which to build.

We sing, we laugh, we grow!

CONTENU

Work on body, breath and breathing awareness to improve singing.
Deepen the “vocal technique” in a playful way and become familiar with the theoretical bases (for example by using a score).
Sharing exercises using the repertoire studied, vocalizations and other games allowing progression.
Regularly practising improvisation and circle song, in particular to develop variations in interpretation and vocal technique, and always to be more present, more relaxed, freer.
Improving one’s stage presence by paying attention to the way one sings with a microphone and moves. Learning to develop one’s relationship with the group and the public, and interaction with the accompanying musician and the sound engineer.

Be a creative force.
Knowing how to evaluate oneself.
Learn to work independently; regular homework is desirable (regular vocal practice and memorization of texts outside of class).

REPERTOIRE

Songs performed in groups, duets or solo.
The repertoire is chosen by the students, and the teacher also guides them in the discovery of new songs (different styles, different languages, different technical difficulties).

CONCERT

1 concert per year (accompanied by a musician), with the possibility of participating in Catalyse’s open stages, upon registration.
