At Catalyse, open stage means open to all, all levels, all ages, all styles.
We welcome you as if you were at home, but the show is professionally equipped, with the right amount of microphones and equipment, as well as an accompanying musician (piano or guitar) and a sound engineer… Everything you need so that your guests can enjoy your performance, without putting too much pressure on you! This gives a joyful mix of amateurs and more confirmed artists, who reveal themselves, listen to each other, exchange, test, dare…
Whether you sing your own songs or covers, whether you are more of a slam or classical, whether you say or read your own texts or those of more famous authors, tales, short stories, poetry, prose, humorous sketches… and why not share a letter from a relative, the composition of a friend or the speech of an old aunt… Everything is possible!
In order for everyone to share their talent with us, appearances on stage are limited to one performance about 4 min per person. If time and number of people allow, a longer performance or a second performance is possible.
