Signature course

Short and intense training for a group of singers who are committed and motivated by vocal improvisation and circle singing at an advanced musical level.
Following on from the monthly Circle Song classes, this workshop, which ends with a public performance, offers more in-depth work on improvisation and performance.

The participants discover and broaden their improvisational palette using a variety of tools, whether sonic, melodic, rhythmic or playful.
They are also led to experiment with the instantaneous superposition of voices through polyphony and polyrhythm. They approach notions of gesture, communication, musical progression, nuance and space. They develop a stage presence and an organic performance.

PUBLIC PRESENTATION

1 performance to conclude the cycle.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Intended for people who are vocally at ease and have experience of improvisation.
Commitment: attendance at the whole cycle and individual work.

INDICATIVE TIMETABLES

The complete cycle consists of:
2 Circle Song Tuesdays, to be chosen from the dates indicated by clicking here (please let us know if you are coming).
4 Thursdays Impro + : from 7 to 9.30 pm.
1 week-end
